Jefferson Healthcare Contract Negotiations commence for RNs and Pro Tech Clinic!

On September 20, our RN and Pro-Tech Clinic Bargaining Teams met with Jefferson Healthcare Management to present several initial proposals. These focused on including per diems in the bargaining unit, improving non-discrimination practices, and extending the timeline for filing grievances. We successfully reached an agreement to extend the grievance filing period to 30 days, giving caregivers more time to report potential contract violations without worrying about missing the deadline.
Our Bargaining Team's top priority is improving our contracts to address staffing challenges and improve retention through economic and non-economic proposals. We've also heard concerns from many of you regarding work schedules and health insurance, and we are committed to addressing these issues in future negotiations. Your input will be critical throughout this process, and we will be seeking feedback during our Contract Action Team (CAT) meetings.
These meetings provide an opportunity for RNs and Pro-Tech Clinic caregivers to raise concerns, offer feedback, stay informed on bargaining progress, and mobilize your coworkers through workplace actions.
