The story of Union workers is a powerful one. When workers come together in a Union, we have the collective strength to meet as equals with our employer. This strength allows workers to bargain for better wages and benefits and have more protection from unfair and unsafe working conditions. UFCW 3000 is a large and diverse Union uniting over 50,000 members working in grocery stores and retail stores, health care clinics and hospitals, meat processing centers, cannabis, and other industry jobs. We are the working people of this country and we stand up for our rights and the rights of the people in our communities. Welcome to our Union.
You have a legally binding contract that cannot be changed at management's whim. This Union contract can also provide protection against unfair management decisions to reduce your hours or discipline/write you up without a fair reason or without representation if you make a request for that representation. These rights are hard-fought for by your fellow Union members. Everyone wants more security in their lives and a job in a Union workplace will help.
