Northwest Administrators ULP Strike Authorization Vote Scheduled
/Our Bargaining Team (left to right): Chad Gronsky, Distribution; Daniel Cobb, Union Negotiator; Grace Tsuchikawa, Health and Welfare; Iva Johnson, Contract Review; Jack Crow, Union Representative; Sierra Cunningham, Payroll Audit; Lulu Morgan, Pension
Our Union Bargaining Team has scheduled our next bargaining session with Northwest Administrators (NWA) and our assigned federal mediator for February 18, then again on February 19 without the mediator.
To ensure members are prepared for any outcome, we are scheduling both a ratification vote and an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike authorization vote on February 26.
While members previously voted in December on a general strike authorization, this second vote is specifically related to authorizing an unfair labor practice (ULP) strike in response to NWA’s illegal conduct at the bargaining table.
Our Bargaining Team remains committed to reaching an agreement and is prepared to negotiate all day. If NWA also comes to the table in good faith we may cancel the ULP strike authorization vote.
Please look for another update immediately after our February 18 & 19 bargaining sessions.
