Our new contract was ratified on May 28 by an overwhelming “YES” vote! Our Bargaining Team worked hard to reach an agreement with substantial wage increases, maintenance of benefits, a commitment to discuss staffing concerns, and no take-aways. Our Bargaining Team has had several bargaining sessions with Management. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the most recent was held via telecommunications.
We are working on core issues around staffing and wages. We need the employer to come to the table with a fair offer that meets the needs of our membership.
