/Our Bargaining Team (left to right): Lulu Morgan, Pension; Sierra Cunningham, Payroll Audit; Iva Johnson, Contract Review; Grace Tsuchikawa, Health and Welfare; Chad Gronsky, Distribution
After months of negotiations, our Union Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with Northwest Administrators!
Navigating through challenges, including threats of satellite office closures in our last few days of negotiations, some highlights of our tentative agreement include:
Significant wage increases in each year of our contract,
Increased contributions to our Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust,
Guarantee that satellite offices will NOT be closed for the duration of our contract,
Introduction of a 5-minute grace period in the "no-fault" attendance policy
Increased flexibility in utilizing personal holidays
FULL RETROACTIVE PAY back to September PLUS a $500 bonus
And so much more!
Our Bargaining Team unanimously recommends a “YES” vote on this contract offer!
The online vote is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26 from 6am to 6pm
We are currently preparing the vote materials to share with everyone soon. Join us for a virtual meeting on Monday at 6:30pm to review the tentative agreement in detail and address any questions. This meeting replaces our previously scheduled Sunday CAT meeting.
The day of the vote you will receive an electronic ballot in your personal email with a summary of changes as well as a full copy of the contract in what is called redline format. This way you can see all changes that were made. If you do not get an electronic ballot by 6am that day leave a message with Union Representative Jack Crow at 206-436-6540 and he will help fix the issue when he becomes available that morning.
